The air feels different today, as if the whole sky were holding its breath.
I am perfectly calm. That is usually the first sign.
Should we be worried, or excited?

Mouette is limited edition fine art photography by Angela Boiler, printed on acrylic. Seen from below, rough grey stone, a bold flash of red and a washed-out sky frame a single seagull, tiny and far away, while the wind seems to hold the whole scene in suspense. The atmosphere is strange and cinematic, like a sixties detective film, with a playful nod to Hitchcock’s The Birds and to the French New Wave. This self-portrait plays with mystery and a hint of the fantastic, as if something had just happened, or were about to. A striking piece of contemporary art and a statement piece with a sense of humour: the still from a film that was never made.
