There is a moment just before waking when the world slows down and nothing is left to want.
Don’t wake up yet. — Angela

Dream is limited edition fine art photography by Angela Boiler, printed on acrylic. Throughout her work, the artist turns the camera on herself, playing both author and muse of her own legend. Somewhere between waking and sleep lies a fleeting moment, when the body still drifts and the mind has not yet returned to reality. Reminiscent of an Edward Hopper interior, the morning sun falls through the window and isolates the figure in quiet intimacy. White cottons, honeyed light and skin glowing in shades of amber, peach and rose create an atmosphere of pure softness. An original artwork and a collectible piece of contemporary art, this self-portrait quietly echoes one of the great back views of art history, Ingres’s Valpinçon Bather.
