A red rope and I am the only law here. He’s under arrest.
Stay where you are. You might be next. — Angela

Balls Patrol 2 is limited edition fine art photography by Angela Boiler, printed on acrylic. Conceived and photographed by the artist herself, the scene opens her practice of staged self-portraiture to a second figure. The gesture is unequivocal. Yet the setting tips the scene into another register: a lakeside jetty in full light, a red rope, an almost too-perfect blue sky, all inspired by the visual language of the B-movie and its comic-book uniforms. What could have been purely confrontational becomes a moment of irony, where force and humour go hand in hand. An original artwork and a collectible piece of contemporary art, Balls Patrol 2 plays with roles and power, with the deadpan humour that runs through the artist’s work.
